The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) regulates the standards for every farm / unit that wants to sell an agricultural product as an organic product. This includes cultivation, harvest and all the processes involved.
The United States Department of Agriculture issues this certification to products that are 100% organically grown or 95% of the ingredients come from certified organic sources.
ECOCERT
This seal meets particularly high requirements in the areas of credibility and the environment. The seal holder is the ECOCERT Group, an international certification body that is also a standard-setting organization.
The COSMOS standard defines the criteria that companies must meet in order to assure consumers that their products are genuine organic or natural cosmetics that have been manufactured according to the highest possible sustainability practices.
The COSMOS standard is administered by the non-profit, international and independent association - the Brussels-based COSMOS standard AISBL.
Companies with the “GMP + FSA” certificate prove that they meet all requirements and conditions with regard to ensuring feed safety. FSA stands for "Feed Safety Assurance". ... GMP + FSA encompasses standards for all links in the chain.
